How to wash your extensions
Wash less often than you think: over-washing dries out hair. Use a sulfate-free shampoo, lukewarm water (never hot), and apply the product with gentle downward strokes, without rubbing or piling. Condition from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the attachment or adhesive area.
How to dry and style
Towel dry by patting, without twisting. Always detangle from the ends upwards with a soft-bristle brush or one specifically for extensions, holding the root to avoid pulling on the attachment. If using heat, apply heat protectant and moderate temperatures.
In Miami: humidity, sun, and pool
Miami's climate is demanding. Sun, chlorine, and salt water dry out and dull hair. Dampen extensions with clean water before entering the pool or sea, tie up your hair when possible, and use a light serum to combat frizz.
How to store them
If they are reusable (tape-in, weft, micro-link), store them clean, dry, and brushed, flat or hung, inside a breathable bag or case. This prevents tangles and preserves the hair pattern between uses.
